Over the last few seasons, Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has bloomed into the next face of the league. He has led the Bucks to terrific regular seasons and bagged individual accolades as well.

Like most top-notch superstars, Nike has Giannis under a multi-million dollar deal. Even before he burst into stardom, Nike placed their trust in the Greek Freak, signing him for a $20,000 per year deal.

However, the deal was upgraded to around $10 million per year back in 2017. Giannis was also promised a signature shoe under Nike. The first Giannis signature shoe made its debut back in June 2019. After the success of the first shoe, Nike also released the Nike Air Zoom Freak 2 recently in July 2020.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is 6’11”, and it’s only natural that he has a higher shoe number than most players. According to Baller Shoes DB, Giannis wears a size 16 shoe.

Are Giannis shoes good?

The Nike Air Zoom Freak 1 was the first signature shoe for the Greek Freak. The name was clearly inspired by his nickname “The Greek Freak” as the shoes have the “Freak” suffix. These shoes did pretty well for the company and they look quite good too.
