Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson Debuts a New Look As He Gets Back to Shooting Back to Back 3s in Practice Sessions

Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson has been instrumental in the team’s three NBA Championship wins. The duo of Stephen Curry and Klay makes the Splash brothers, and it is unsettling to imagine these two not playing together. But a severe injury last year forced Klay out.
It was Game 6 of the NBA Finals, and hence it was very crucial for Klay to keep playing. He was in his top form with 30 points to his name in 32 minutes of playing time. That is when he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. GSW took a 110-114 defeat against the Raptors and also lost Thompson for the 2019-20 season.

The quarantine time worked well for him
GSW unfortunately could not make the cut to enter the Orlando bubble. But this awarded time for Klay to overcome the injury and get back on the court. Klay recently said, “mind and body are 100 percent ready to get back on the court.”
Even the head coach Steve Kerr of GSW is noticing excellent signs coming from his top player. He told in a podcast, “He looked great. He was in really, really good shape, draining shots from all over like the Klay we all know and love.” He added, “It’s just that we don’t know when basketball will be played, but Klay will be ready.”
