When we talk about the best shooters of all-time, one NBA player is featured in most fans’ list. The Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry has established himself as one of the greats in this very aspect.

In fact, many believe Steph along with teammate Klay Thompson have revolutionized the modern day game with his phenomenal shooting prowess. However, LaVar Ball seems to disagree with this fact. He spoke about this on the latest episode of “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

” No, I don’t say he revolutionized the game because a lot of guys are shooting from far distance… It’s not even about the consistency because his consistency is there, they only show the ones that he really make. For Mark Jackson to give him the leeway to shoot anywhere that’s what allowed him. My boys are shooting further than him.”

LaVar has always been known for uncommon takes at NBA stars. But it is hard to say that any NBA fan would agree with this take by Ball. Steph’s impact on the modern era game has been unmatched and players are racking up numerous 3-pt shots due to Steph’s impact.

Moreover, players are even succeeding at flushing 3-pointers from deep range with more efficiency. Regardless of what LaVar says, Steph has and will always be regarded as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, if not the greatest.

After being sidelined for most of the 2019-20 NBA season battling a hand injury, Curry will make a return this season. However, the Warriors won’t have Steph’s backcourt partner Klay Thompson available due to another gruesome injury.

As a result, sports pundits are already writing off the Warriors even before the season begins. Warriors will certainly miss their second best player in Klay, but with Steph leading the charge for the team, they should still finish with a respectable record.

Additionally along with Curry, the franchise will put their hopes on the shoulders of Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and James Wiseman. If the Warriors avoid any further serious injuries to their roster. They should at least make a deep playoff run, if not all the way to the NBA Finals.
