The former Kentucky Wildcats has contributed massively towards the Heat’s success against the Bucks. In the five-game series, Herro averaged 13.2 points, 3.6 assists, and 5.6 rebounds, proving that he’s not the average rookie.

Herro’s taken on a strong role in the team, and his confidence skyrockets his ability to deliver. In Game 5, the youngster displayed a brilliant all-round performance to close out the series against the Heat.

Tyler Herro seems to have got everything in his bag, as his performance in Game 5 went down into the franchise’s history books. No Heat rookie has put up a 14/8/6 performance in a playoff game before. Herro’s elegant game seems to be getting him all the recognition that he rightfully deserves.

NBA community reacts to Tyler Herro’s performance as Heat progress to the ECF

With this win, the Miami Heat has booked a place in the conference finals. This is the Heat’s first visit to the ECF in six years. An incredible feat indeed, which was only made possible by a team that came into the series as underdogs and muscled their way to victory.

Tyler Herro has been an instrumental part of this success, and the NBA community, along with its fans, reacted to his fabulous performance to close out the series. Herro stepped up on both ends of the court in Game 5. The 6’5″ guard also recorded a block and a steal. Both stats went down as his first and last in the series.
