Two weeks after the NBA Finals vlog, Los Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee has now released the title celebration vlog. It is the 18th episode of Life in the Bubble and also the season finale. It starts right from the moment the Lakers were announced as the champions to their plane journey back to LA.

During these behind-the-scenes celebrations, guard Dion Waiters, who is called Philly Cheese, gave himself a new nickname.

He said, “After the year I had I would love that story. They try to count me out, they try to sabotage sh*t. I am not Philly cheese, I am not bubble cheese, call me CC. I’m champ cheese.”

Later, while getting on the plane, LeBron James and Davis were being goofy as ever. After an incredible campaign, the Lakers came out on top despite not even being among the top picks to win it.

Fans were worried after their poor run in the seeding games. But once they entered the Playoffs, they showed up. No team was a match for them as they bulldozed their way to the title.

Free agency will be an uphill battle for the Lakers. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Rajon Rondo are both opting out of their player options, and Dwight Howard is also a free agent.

All of them were important contributors to the Lakers’ playoff campaign. If the Lakers are unable to resign them, they’d have to find replacements in this thin free agency class and that will be tough.

Davis re-signing is a big boost, but they will have to bolster their squad to go for a repeat. The Warriors and the Nets look early favorites for the title, but the Lakers know a thing or two about beating the odds and winning.
