Individuals can never be measured as greater than their respective sports. Still, there are names that become synonymous with the game, for at least an era. We are talking about the duo of late Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Surely there are other recent names like Kawhi Leonard, Stephen Curry, and James Harden, but none have left such big an impact as them.

When Mamba tragically passed away, we could see how the whole world was mourning. The folks with no knack for NBA consumption were left broken too. Kobe Bryant and his bromance for The Akron Hammer

Kobe was once asked about how he likes to be around LeBron. In an NBC Olympics video, he said with a wide smile, “He is hilarious. He just loves having a good time.”

Also, excerpts from a 2012 NBA interview explain the kind of fascination Kobe carried for LeBron. He had said, “I have known LeBron a long time. He’s really a good friend. I know the type of person he is. He is a workaholic. He is constantly learning, trying to make himself better.”

In the same audio, Mr.81 tagged LeBron James as the best player in the NBA. He added, “To play alongside I will pick LeBron no question. He’s a pass-first guy and I am a gunner. So it goes hand-in-hand.”

We desperately miss having LeBron James and Kobe Bryant share the same roster.

It is only evident that if not for the negligible difference in their career timeline, they were together a force to reckon with. The portrait of NBA Championships would have been more in Golden and Purple if LeBron was traded to the Lakers way earlier. The two could have done for the Lakers what Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen did for the Bulls in the 90s. A rain of rings more than the number of fingers!
