The Milwaukee Bucks are among the favorites to win the championship this season. The team is powered by reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo who is looking to clinch his second straight MVP award. One of the players in the team, Robin Lopez has been enjoying himself ever since the team entered the Disney World Resort in Orlando.

Robin Lopez recently connected on a Zoom session with reporters where he spoke about his initial experience inside the bubble. Moreover, the 32-year-old expressed his love for the Disney characters as he and his twin brother have been enthralled by Disney World since their childhood.

Moreover, Lopez has no love for the NBA mascots. In fact, he has a longstanding feud with the mascots. In April, the Milwaukee Bucks big man posted a tweet saying players won’t miss the mascots inside the bubble because they got authentic Disney characters.

Now, he has taken it a step further and has fired shots at the NBA mascots. Here is what Lopez said:

“I don’t want to use the word alternatives. That takes a group of characters, a cadre of characters, that are the cream-of-the-crop at what they do. And that sullies their names by suggesting they’re merely playing in the same ballpark as NBA mascots,” Lopez said, as per K. C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago. “There’s a pyramid to this, you know with the NBA mascots, MLB mascots, NFL mascots are all the way down (low).

“It would be a blessing to have the Disney characters around our game, around our sporting events,” he further added. “Whatever the children do these days, please tag the mascots in that statement.”

The main man of the team Giannis Antetokounmpo looks ready. The ‘Greek Freak’ posted a tweet a few days ago to remind himself and his fans about the responsibility that he carries. The Bucks have entered the bubble and they are ready to take on their opponents with all their might.

The Milwaukee Bucks progressed till the conference finals last year, but fell valiantly at the hands of the Toronto Raptors. They went from a team that lost constantly in the first round of the playoffs to reaching the conference finals.

With the same level of motivation in their minds, Giannis, Khris Middleton, and the team would look to make a deep playoff run this year as well. The Bucks are the favorites to clinch the conference title this season, but they would have to get past the likes of Boston Celtics and the Raptors.
