The Miami Heat has put on a stellar display this season. The team is thriving under the leadership of Jimmy Butler and we are only hoping for them to get better. Butler is a no-nonsense kind of guy, but his ongoing beef with Pacers’ T. J. Warren has been tremendous content for NBA fans.

Now, that the Heat has locked horns with the Pacers in their first-round playoff matchup, we can surely expect Butler and Warren to put on a show! Both players met each other inside the bubble, in an occasion where the Miami Heat triumphed the Pacers

Jimmy Butler outscored Warren in their personal battle as he got 19.0 points compared to Warren’s uncharacteristic bubble form of scoring only 12.0 on a game night. In the bubble rematch, both players were rested and we got to see no intense action. However, the NBA playoffs are right around the corner, and Butler has commented on the fiery matchup against the Pacers.

Jimmy Butler isn’t concerned that he has to face T. J. Warren again

Jimmy Butler is one of the fiercest competitors you can find in today’s game. The 30-year-old is all about business when he steps out on the court. Ahead of the Heat’s battle against the Pacers, Butler had a few words to share about his matchup with Warren.

“Look, I just play basketball. I’m going to go out there and be the best player on the floor. That’s what Miami has me here to do,” Butler said, as per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald. “I’m not worried about nobody’s matchup. We can kill that. That’s dead. That’s something of the past.”

Moreover, Jimmy also said that “my job isn’t against T. J. Warren.” The 5x All-Star is looking at the bigger picture and letting go of his feud with Warren. While he has buried it in the past, the Pacers are now his focus point. He wants to lead the Miami Heat to register a comprehensive victory against Indiana.

“The tougher team is gonna end up winning in the end,” Butler added. “I think we have that in our corner. I think we are going to have that in our corner every series. But for the one at hand now against Indiana, it’s going to be a dog fight. But I think we got some dogs.”
