LeBron James has been a household name ever since he won the Rookie of the Year award. Moreover, authors love writing about him, and fans love reading about their favorite star. Also, a discussion on the NBA seems incomplete without including King James in the conversation.

But does he still have the ability to surprise his fans?

Lakers’ point guard Quinn Cook joined the team in the current season. He was an active part of the 2018 NBA Championship winning team, the Golden State Warriors. The 27-YO man is in awe, playing alongside Bron, and it reflects in his views.

Lakers guard may have an idea why LeBron James is so successful

Quinn Cook has cherished his time so far with the Lakers, and counts both Anthony Davis and LeBron James as his greatest motivators. Cook wrote for basketballnews.com where he expressed himself and revealed, “When you spend time around Bron, it’s obvious why he’s a legend. It’s not a coincidence! He and AD are always the first ones in the gym. Bron shows up 2.5 hours before practice to work on his body and get shots up, and he gets to the arena 3-4 hours before each game.”

Now, that dedication towards the profession lands him in the league of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. It is the leaders that practice what they preach, who birth a champion team.

Also, Quinn noted, “When I was with the Warriors, I played against Bron during the 2018 NBA Finals and he was calling out many of our sets before they even happened. He’s able to do that because he watches a ton of film and his attention to detail is incredible.”

For sure, Bron’s grasp of the intricate details of the sport is amazing. Quinn, on his part, surely respects it.

QC began his NBA career in 2016-17 with the Mavs. However, he never came into the limelight until he joined the Golden State Warriors. The GSW were already star-studded with the likes of Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, among others. Still, Quinn played his part by appearing in 33 regular games that season, averaging a little below 10 points per game.

For the Lakers in the 2019-20 season, he averaged 42.5 FG% and has proved to be a decent playmaker. We all remember the buzzer-beater he pulled against the Chicago Bulls that helped the Lakers beat Bulls 94-93 in a packed arena. Let’s see if he gets to play in the rotation when the Lakers next play in an NBA Playoffs 2020 game.
