It looks like the Lakers are taking the preseason as seriously as possible. Not because of anything else but because they are matched up against their rivals, the LA Clippers. They’ve played two games against each other and the Lakers have come out victorious in both. These games aren’t anywhere close to what it will be like in the regular season. But maybe Kawhi Leonard and Jared Dudley ignited a little rivalry of their own.

Just three minutes into the game, the Clippers only had three points. It was after that when they started showing a little aggressive offense. However, they could not hold the fort on the defensive end. Their lack of disinterest and chemistry led to them losing 131-106.

Kawhi Leonard also played better than his debut on Friday, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Lakers at bay. The 20-year-old Talen Horton-Tucker was all the purple and gold needed to float their boat. He dropped a whopping 33 points, a huge step up from his opening night performance of 19 points.

With all the attention towards Horton single-handedly taking on the Clippers, there is something everyone missed out on and Jared Dudley has spoken up.

Kawhi Leonard fouled Jared Dudley?

A video of Dudley doing some gestures with his hands went viral and one man even asked on Twitter, “I just wanna know what Dudz was tryna do here.” Dudley was quick to respond and accused Kawhi Leonard of slapping his hand.

He replied, “Kawhi slap my hand when I shot that 3 at the end of the half! The whole bench heard it… So I was asking the ref high fives and slaps aren’t fouls anymore?!!!”

Well, if the slap was as loud as Dudley claims, it is surprising that the refs didn’t hear it. It’s possible that the reason this didn’t become too controversial is that it is, after all, just a preseason game.

There is one more game left before the matches that matter begin. Is it possible that the Clippers are just taking it slow and not showing all of their cards now? Or is this how their regular season might look like?
