Due to the untimely demise of Kobe Bryant, fans are queuing up virtually and in stores to get a hold of his merchandise. From jerseys to signed basketballs, people want to get a piece of memorabilia in memory of the five-time NBA champion.

Lakers player Jared Dudley calls for more Kobe Bryant merchandise to go on sale

As mentioned earlier, there has been a huge surge in sales of Kobe merchandise. Stores run out of stock pretty quickly due to the emotions involved. Few fans get to own a piece of Kobe merchandise due to the immense rush on the internet. 

A person can even use bots to order bulk quantities, which will deprive others the chance of buying. To address this issue, a twitter user named Yunel Dudley took to Twitter to vent his feelings on the issue.

“You gotta tell the Lakers to drop more Kobe jerseys all the people with bots got them,” the Twitter user wrote. He even posted an image alarming everyone about how certain people use internet bots to take advantage of online sales.

This caught the eye of Lakers role player, Jared Dudley. The veteran always stays active on twitter, addressing issues relating to the NBA. When he came across Yunel Dudley’s post, he wanted to bring it to light to the management.

Jared Dudley urged Lakers owner Jeanie Buss to initiate the sales of more Kobe merchandise so that “real fans” can buy and cherish them. This might or might not directly affect how the Lakers decide to sell Kobe’s merch. But Jared Dudley coming out and bringing this to light shows the level of respect he has for the demised legend.
