We all know that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the 2020 NBA MVP. The result is not going to change, but there are a lot of people against it. LeBron James finished second in the voting, but several voices are being heard that he deserved to win. One among the familiar ones is James’ Lakers teammate Alex Caruso.

Caruso joined veteran JJ Redick on his podcast fresh after winning the championship. After breezing past their title run and other matters, Caruso reached LeBron worship land!

As years passed, Caruso could fulfill his dream of playing alongside his hero, and the cherry on top was the 2020 NBA championship they recently won. The former G-League star then quickly dived into the 2020 MVP results and mentioned how LeBron deserved to win.

“I don’t know if this is a hot topic or not, but I think he [LeBron] should’ve won the MVP this year. Giannis: You know how really good he is. You don’t have to give him credit or whatever it is,” he said.

Caruso finished the statement by putting forth how LeBron dominated the league even after he’s crossed the 35-year-old mark. But Caruso isn’t the only one who feels this way. He has plenty of support.

2014 MVP winner Kevin Durant also stated that James deserved to win it ahead of Giannis. Moreover, the Big Diesel Shaquille O’Neal also put forth his arguments on why LeBron earned the honor more than the ‘Greek Freak.’

“LeBron James is LeBron James, the GOAT of everything, so it was cool. The Lakers definitely motivated us. When we saw them win, we were like, ‘what we got in this locker room, we can do the same thing. We’re so talented,’” Bellinger told ESPN’s Sam Alipour

It was an incredible moment for the city of Los Angeles when the Dodgers won the World Series. It was the first time in 32 years that both the Lakers and the Dodgers emerged as the champions in their respective leagues.
