Without a doubt, Davis has been the knight in shining armor for the Lakers. He has proven to be the best right-hand man to James. The Heat have practically no response to AD’s terror, as he has been on a roll since the battle for the championship began.
Talking about his record-breaking performances, he has added himself into another list of legends. After tonight’s game, as per NBA’s twitter, he has joined Kevin Durant (2012), Michael Jordan (1991), Rick Barry (1967), and Hal Greer (1967) as the only players in NBA History to score 30+ points in their first two career NBA Finals.

This can be added to the list of achievements the New Orleans Pelicans recruit already has on his resume. With today’s performance, he also etched his name in the Lakers’ history. His total of 66 points in the first two games of the Finals has now placed him next to Lakers’ legends Shaquille O’Neal and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Therefore, he ranks third in being the player who has scored the most points in the first two games of the Finals.
