The 21-year-old Cassius Stanley played for the Duke Blue Devils. The exceptional beast level athlete comes from a team that NBA superstars like Brandon Ingram, Kyrie Irving, Zion Williamson, and J. J. Redick have played for. As one of the top 30 prospects of the high school class of 2019, the young star has now gotten the approval of one of the NBA legends, Magic Johnson.

Stanley made a name for himself very early in his career. Cassius is no ordinary player and his record shows that he was born for greatness as a basketball player. He is someone about whom articles were published even at the age of 14. He even made his first unofficial dunk at just 11 years of age.
In his freshman year, Cassius contributed on both ends of the court efficiently. He averaged 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and earned ACC All-Freshman Team honors. Considered one of the quickest college basketball players, he uses his speed to get into the lane and draw out the defenders, which then helps him find his open man.

Stanley played for Duke for just one season before he left. And now, as part of the 2020 NBA Draft, most mock drafts have placed the 6-foot-6 wing in the second-round pick.

The two-time former MVP Magic Johnson has high hopes for Stanley. He believes that whichever team Stanley lands up in, he will be a tremendous catch. He wrote on Twitter, “@cassius_stanley with his 44″ vertical is one of the best athletes in the NBA Draft. A gym rat and a competitor, he will be a better NBA player than a college player!”
