LeBron James’ Son, Bronny a Better Shot Than Him, Confronts Ex-Wizards Star

The pressure on Bronny James of being the son of LeBron James is massive. He is often compared to his father, who is one of the best players NBA has ever seen. The most asked question always is whether Bronny can reach his father’s level.

Ex- Wizards star Gilbert Arenas believes so. In a recent appearance of The Complex Sports Podcast, he revealed an instance where LBJ asked Arenas to assess his son.

Arenas recalled his text to LeBron. “‘He’s you. From what I can tell right now, he probably has a better shot than you did. Dribbles better than you. You guys probably have the same passing ability. You are probably faster, taller. He probably jumps higher.’ And he said ‘Dead on!’”

“And I said, ‘The difference between you and him at this point is you needed basketball to get out of where you were getting out of. He doesn’t need basketball because you did it already.’”

That’s some high praise from an such an experienced player like Arenas. The expectations on Bronny is sky high. Its early days but looks good.

Given the fitness levels of LeBron James, there is no doubt that he can play till he is 40 years old. If Bronny does make the cut in the NBA, there is a real possibility of seeing the father son duo in the NBA.

Can Bronny emulate his father, LeBron James?

For his age, a 15-year-old Bronny James is showing impeccable athleticism. He has been impressive in his time at Sierra Canyon, playing alongside Zaire Wade.

He has shown his speed and power that he naturally possesses, kudos to his father. A combo guard, Bronny has also shown impeccable vision and playmaking skills.

According to Bronny’s latest scouting report by Evan Daniels, James has shown his skill in shooting and good shooting mechanics and as a potential to be a good long-range shooter.

He still only is 15 and is yet to grow to his full potential. For now, he has been projected as the 25th pick in the 2023 draft by ESPN. The initial signs are promising. Only time will tell how good will be Bronny James.
