Anthony Davis has had one of the biggest single-year turnarounds of most superstar players. While he was never bad, AD missed the Playoffs with the New Orleans Pelicans multiple times. This included last season, where he also suffered an injury. Davis made his way to LA last off-season, in a trade which saw LA lose almost their entire future.

However, the trade is proving to be a good one. AD is already leading the way to an NBA Championship with LeBron James. The pair are waiting for their Conference Finals opponents to be confirmed.

Davis spoke to Christian Rivas of SB Nation and said, “It just feel like everything is falling into place,” Davis said. “When I got here obviously the goal was to win championships, and we’re eight wins away. It’s been a great process for me. It’s been great being around the guys that we have, obviously, it’s been great being around ‘Bron, him helping me through it all.

“Obviously, at this point now, the Western Conference Finals is new for me, so that process is going to be fun, but it’s everything that I envisioned.”

Can Anthony Davis and LeBron James lead the Lakers to a 17th title?

Davis has never been in a high-intensity playoff situation before. Lucky for him that LeBron James is as experienced as anyone can get in the NBA Playoffs. Their chemistry looks great, as the team has easily made it to the Conference Finals. The question is, can they win the championship?

There is no obvious reason to doubt the Lakers after their performances. They may have lost two game ones, but those are the only games they have lost. The team adjusts to what their opponents do and somehow outplay them at their game. While this will be harder against the Clippers or the Denver Nuggets, they have to be feeling good about their chances.
