Danny Green arrived in the Los Angeles Lakers unit in the 2019-20 season. The Lakers were keen on signing Kawhi Leonard but had to settle with the services of Deadshot. He is a great shooter and strong with his perimeter defense. Though the former Raptors player has not been exceptional for the Lakers, he still is an important part and will get better under the leadership of LeBron James.

He was recently asked a very tricky question. The Deadshot had to choose between three legends of the game. The question was, “Whether he’d rather have Tim Duncan’s longevity, LeBron’s versatility, or Steph Curry’s shot, and why?”

Danny Green picks his priority, it’s LeBron James!

In the past one decade with the NBA, Stephen Curry has proved his critics wrong by averaging 23.5 points per game and 47.6% FG accuracy. He has a 3-pointers percentage of 43.5%, and that’s legendary.

Next up, we have Tim Duncan. The man is the Round 1 pick from 1997, the era when Michael Jordan was still playing at his best. Kobe Bryant was drafted just one year before Tim. The Stone Buddha has accumulated an enormous 26,496 career points, and retired only in 2016. He was one of the most consistent performers.

But Danny chooses his teammate’s versatility over everyone else. He says, “I’m a shooter myself. So I know what it’s like to have a different way of dominating with the size that Bron has. He can dominate in so many different ways.”

What lies ahead for him?

Danny entered the league for the Lakers with a bang. He scored 28 points in his debut game against the LA Clippers. The 33-YO has won two NBA championships with two different teams. He won with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014 and then with Toronto Raptors last year. His 3-point percentage was 45.5 in the last season. That is how he earned that nickname ‘Deadshot’. Danny’s focus remains the defense, and he is strong at it.

The trade rumors were gaining momentum with the name of Kyle Kuzma and Danny Green, but nothing concrete happened. Green is a very crucial forward player for the Lakers, and he still has a lot to accomplish.
