The Denver Nuggets overcame a 3-1 deficit to advance to the second round of NBA Playoffs against the Utah Jazz. Jamal Murray put up insane numbers and carried the team on his back in the last four games.

For the Utah Jazz, it was Donovan Mitchell getting the job done. But his efforts were not enough to lead his team to the next round. Moreover, Nikola Jokic recorded a 30 point double-double to lead the Nuggets in a low-scoring Game 7.

During the series, Mitchell and Murray put impressive scoring numbers. Mitchell averaged a humongous 36.3 points while shooting over 50% from both the field and three-point line. On the other hand, Murray put up 31.6 points with similar accuracy from the field and beyond the three-point line.

Lakers guard Danny Green recalled seeing Mitchell and Murray talking after the insane Game 7.

I was outside, getting my daily stroll on late night or whatever messing with the corn hole, and Jamal Murray and Donovan Mitchell actually talking last night quite a bit.

A lot of Utah and Denver guys actually talking and chopping it up after a hard-fought series, which is something you don’t really see or get a chance to do or happens often in a regular season. It was an amazing series and something that’s gonna be remembered forever, so I think they kind of embraced that, talking about it and I guess wishing each other good luck in the future,”  narrated the Lakers Guard.
