Luka Doncic Posts Incredible Throwback After Dallas Mavericks Reveal New Jersey

Luka Doncic has been a basketball prodigy for quite some time now. While most have watched him blossom in the NBA, some may have gotten a chance to follow him while he was tearing up the EuroLeague.
Doncic won multiple accolades in the EuroLeague and already built a legacy as a fantastic player with a few years under his name.
He played for Real Madrid in Spain. The team is known through basketball and primarily football with their sleek white kits. They look royal and are often considered some of the best available jerseys. The Dallas Mavericks have leaned into that, as evidenced by their new city collection.

Luka Doncic was quick to notice the similarities that the new Dallas jersey held to the one that he wore during his Real Madrid days. He posted a side-by-side comparison with him in the Madrid jersey on his Instagram story.
Doncic won the EuroLeague MVP as an 18-year-old in Real Madrid. He led the team to multiple titles, both on a continental and a country level. He left Europe with recognition as one of the best basketball players of the last decade, despite debuting in 2015 and leaving in 2018.

While the EuroLeague is very tough, it isn’t the NBA. Doncic has proven to be one of the best Under-21 players that the league has ever seen. His numbers have surpassed the likes of LeBron James and Magic Johnson, so he definitely is on the right track.

His sophomore season emergence led Dallas to a playoff spot in the unbelievably competitive Western Conference. This kit will be a unique addition to their team.
