Just over a year ago Giannis Antetokounmpo was at the peak of his form. He had taken the NBA by storm, and everybody started making a case for him as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
In February last year, Giannis sat down with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols to talk about his season.
“I should be MVP because – I don’t care, I just care about winning.” he said during the interview, “You just keep winning and playing good basketball and everything will take care of itself.”
It was also the time when rumor mills around then New Orleans Pelicans player Anthony Davis were churning. Talking about what he learned from the Davis situation, Antetokounmpo said, “If I was Anthony Davis, I would not talk about free agency. I would focus on just playing basketball.”
Not sure anyone in the league is having more fun than @Giannis_An34 – we sat down to discuss his team’s potential, his love of reality TV and what he learned watching the Anthony Davis situation. Oh, and also, he makes his case for MVP…kind of. pic.twitter.com/M0UIA404kj

Giannis Antetokounmpo admitted liking reality TV and keeping up with the Kardashians
During the interview, Antetokounmpo admitted to liking reality TV and following the Kardashians. Giannis said he loved the “drama” and accepted that the shows are his “guilty pleasure.”
Unfortunately, he confirmed that there will never be a Giannis Antetokounmpo TV show.
Going to bed tonight thinking about what I’m going to try next! Tomorrow I’m on a mission to become a better player and to find funnel cakes and smoked turkey legs with mustard! #GoodNight #StayFreaky

Born in Greece to Nigerian parents, Giannis not only adapted well to the American way of life but also seemed to have developed an affinity towards its pop culture.
