Since the start of the 2021 NBA season, Giannis has been dealing with injury niggles. He suffered back and knee injuries in January earlier this year. The knee injuries resurfaced in March and April but Giannis pulled through. He was also plagued with calf and groin issues but nothing as serious as this injury. Giannis will undergo further MRI scans in order to know the full extent of his injury and the time for which he will be sidelined.
