The Milwaukee Bucks seem on the verge of facing an upset in the conference semis. They are 0-2 down after facing yet another defeat against the Miami Heat in the NBA Playoffs 2020. Nothing seems to work for the franchise that was once soaring high.

At one point in the seeding games, the Bucks were 52-8 with a win percentage of 86.67%. But a debacle followed, and they ended up 56-17 but still #1 in the Eastern Conference. The Orlando Bubble remained a topsy-turvy business for them. Apart from their man, Giannis Antetokounmpo, winning the Defensive Player of the Year award, nothing noteworthy happened for them.

There can always be an exceptional performance that can prove such stats wrong. But the way Miami Heat are running, it seems no stopping them. They’ve become the Phoenix Suns (they were 8-0 in the Bubble) of the post-season, in the context of not giving away a game and standing 6-0.

Giannis Antetokounmpo in deep trouble!

In 2007, the Dallas Mavericks completed seeding games 67-15 and got defeated in the first round against the eighth seed Golden State Warriors (4-2). The Bucks definitely passed that scare and reached round 2, but things from here look dicey.

In Game 2, Jimmy Butler’s amazing steal against Giannis in Q1 kind of set the tone for the match. The Miami Heat led the Bucks by nine to thirteen points, almost until the fourth quarter. Both the Greek Freak and Khris Middleton had to sit out before the half-time after three personal fouls. This story continued until the last second, when the Bucks’ recovery of six crucial points went down in the drain as Giannis fouled and awarded them the game with zero seconds left.

Now the question is, will the Heat go 3-0, or will the Bucks hit them with sharp antlers? Let us know what you think in the comments.
