Milwaukee Bucks pulled off an amazing trade ahead of the deadline as they traded to bring in veteran forward PJ Tucker. After having three decent seasons with the Rockets, the 35-year-old is ready for a run at the championship with a new team.

The Bucks this season have added some key players in their roster. After trading away a key player in Eric Bledsoe, who was regressing rapidly, the Bucks brought in a great guard in Jrue Holiday.

Both PJ Tucker and Jrue Holiday have certainly added a new dimension to the Bucks. Given the lack of support Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton have had, these additions make the Bucks one of the favorites in the Eastern Conference.

While Giannis and the Bucks might have dominated regular seasons for the last three seasons, they have struggled to get past the hump in the playoffs. The lack of a quality support cast has been a major reason.

With two seasoned veterans in Holiday and Tucker, the Bucks are back in the driver’s seat to be one of the favorites for the championship. Ex-NBA champion Kendrick Perkins took to twitter and called out the 2-time MVP.

Given the lack of playoff success, it’s about time that the Bucks at least reach the finals this season. If the 26-year-old can maintain his regular season form, he can surely lead the Bucks to a possible NBA championship.

Kendrick Perkins describes what PJ Tucker adds to the Milwaukee Bucks

Perkins recently made an appearance at ESPN’s the Jump. There he explained what the 35-year-old adds to the Bucks.

Perkins said, “Look, the Bucks organization promised Giannis, that they were going to do everything in their power to help them get to the ultimate goal. And that’s winning the championship and acquiring PJ Tucker is a huge upgrade, in my opinion.

“You talk about a guy that is relentless on the defensive end that could switch one to five strong ax an ox, does all the little things that doesn’t show up in the stat sheet.”

“And by the way, the one thing that he’s going to bring to the table, he’s going to bring that big brother mentality, that big brother mentality where you know, you’re walking into arenas, or walking onto the court, and you have PJ Tucker who has your back.”

“So now he brings a different type of swagger to this organization. And I think it was a huge upgrade for the Milwaukee Bucks. And now they’re ready to compete with anybody in the Eastern Conference.”

The Bucks have a serious chance of making it to the finals with this roster. Can Milwaukee Bucks finally win a championship for the first time in 50 years?
