The Bucks have saved themselves from a 0-4 scare against the Miami Heat. This also pulled the breaks on Heat’s undefeated run in NBA Playoffs 2020. But it was easy said than done for the Bucks who had every reason to lose yet another game.

The Milwaukee Bucks had a rough start to the game, and it seemed they will soon reach a point of no return. They were in a 12-point deficit (15-27 down) in Q1. As the commentators noted, Giannis Antetokounmpo had missed 11 consecutive attempts from the downtown before finally converting one. However, in the very next minute, he again hurt his right ankle (already sore from the last game) and did not return to play.

Rebutting every allegation, the Milwaukee team proved that they can cross the ocean without Giannis being the sailor to their boat. Khris Middleton, as well as George Hill, did a formidable job to bring the team back into the game. Khris scored 36 points, 8 rebounds, and as many assists to fold the victory for his side. Meanwhile, he also matched an age-old record as he pulled these heroics.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the by far the most successful Milwaukee star. He became the Rookie of the Year in 1970 with them and went on to win the MVP too. He played six seasons for the Bucks and accumulated astounding figures with 54.7% FG. The tower from power is still the leading scorer (14211) for them and helped the Bucks win their only championship in 1971.

Khris Middleton is getting better!

Khris is now averaging 20 points per game in the NBA Playoffs 2020. This is still not as good as his post-season performance in 2017-18 where he averaged 24.7. But he is getting better. Bucks are one of the most improved defenses in the NBA and this man has been a big help.

For the Heat, fate did not support Goran Dragic in the clutch time as his buzzer-beater attempt got stuck in the rim. The game went into overtime, and that’s when Khris Middleton took complete charge of the game. He scored 9/11 points for the Bucks and won them the game with a shot from behind the arc when just 6 seconds remained on the clock.

Tyler Herro’s back-to-back threes went in vain as the series stretched to another game now. Will Giannis be back? Will Khris get even better? Let’s wait for the next game for the answers.
