The Warriors’ scouts have shown time and again that they have what it takes to predict the future. Stephen Curry (7th) in 2009, Klay Thompson (11th) in 2011, and Draymond Green (35th) in 2012 ensured that they help GSW achieve greatness. Now, after an injury-plagued 2019, they are sitting on Gold with a #2 overall pick in their kitty.

Three players that are almost certain to get picked by the first three lottery pickers are LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, and James Wiseman. If this order actually gets followed, the GSW organization has nothing to lose. They are anyway interested in Anthony’s services more than anybody else’s.

Anthony’s name raises a few concerns for Warriors

His playmaking ability is still not as good as his counterpart, LaMelo Ball. In his one year of college basketball, he averaged 40.2% accuracy from the field and 29.4% from the downtown. One more thing about his play is off-putting. At times, he does not make use of his size and rather takes midrange jumpers to covert points. This approach has not been very productive for his game as of now.

But the positive side to this is the kind of help he can get from the Warriors. Coach Steve Kerr and the Splash brothers can help him big-time to improve his shooting.

Last but not the least, the Georgia Bulldogs men’s basketball guy, Anthony believes he is better than Dwyane Wade. Now, this confidence will either force him to push harder for success or succumb to pressure. What do you think will happen? Help us know in the comments.
