Miami Heat fell to a 2-0 series deficit after the LA Lakers won consecutive games in dominant fashion. The Heat upset juggernauts like the Milwaukee Bucks on their way to the Finals. Many were hoping they can do the same with the Lakers, but right now, the series is looking quite one-sided.

The Miami Heat are possibly the grittiest team in the NBA right now. While they may be a throwback of the 2004 Pistons that took down Shaq and Kobe, this series isn’t turning out like that. Despite making the right tactical adjustments by including Kendrick Nunn and Kelly Olynyk for the injured Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo, the Heat still fell short.

The Lakers are stacked with veteran talent, as compared to the younger and more inexperienced Miami Heat team. Their most experienced Finals players are Udonis Haslem and Andre Iguodala. Butler and Adebayo are in their first deep Finals run, while Tyler Herro is in his first NBA season.

The future for Miami is bright, no doubt. However, the immediate future is staring down the barrel of a possible 4-0 Finals sweep. However, a team built off the iconic Heat Culture can fight back even when they look down and out.
