LeBron James makes history each time he steps onto the court at this point. He is playing in his 10th Finals appearance, a distinction matched by titans of the sport. Further, he is matching those up to their records in almost every other game. Tonight, he had two more accolades added to his already massive resume.

LeBron crossed Elgin Baylor to have the most games with 25 points and 10 rebounds in NBA Finals history. With his 26 points and 12 rebounds tonight, LeBron notched his 24th 25-point 10-rebound game in the Finals.

Along with that, he also crossed 500 points in the post-season. While that is a distinction many elite players have, but LeBron has gone a step further in proving his versatility.  This is the sixth time LeBron has had 500 points, 150 rebounds, and 150 assists in the Playoffs. The only other player to ever do this in the NBA was Larry Bird, and he did it just once. Wow!

With a possible Game 5 win, LeBron will make a lot more history. He will join the illustrious group of players that have won titles on three teams. He is on the precipice of becoming the first player ever to win Finals MVP for three teams. If he wins Finals MVP, he will move clear in second all-time for most Finals MVPs.

However, he will still be two short of Michael Jordan. But with this Lakers team and LeBron’s ageless play, you never know what more he achieves.

However, James seems dedicated to unlocking his team to do better. He has led the league in assists for the first time in his career and has done well distributing the ball in the Playoffs. In Game 4, he proved he can still be reliable while going in for a bucket. He is shooting above 50% in the Finals and proving that he can still win at 35.
