It was a sad end for the Milwaukee Bucks‘ journey in the Playoffs. Despite being one of the best teams in the regular season and landing the top seed in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks really struggled in the Orlando Bubble. They just weren’t the same after the season resumed in Orlando. That was evident after their unexpected 4-1 loss against the Miami Heat in the second round of the Playoffs.

After seeing their horrible performance, there were many speculations about their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo being up for trade. Not only that, but even their coach Mike Budenholzer’s job was also supposedly hanging in the balance. However, a twist has arrived amidst these rumors. A new player has come to light from the Bucks that could be up for a trade.

At first, rumors arose that Giannis was looking to leave the Bucks. There was a lot of guesswork that he wasn’t happy with the Bucks for a few years, and if they didn’t win the Championship this year, he would leave. Nevertheless, he denied these claims and said he wants to learn and grow with the team.

On the other hand, there is coach Budenholzer, who was being blamed for the Bucks’ below-average performance in this season and was speculated to be let go. But, according to The Athletic, his job is safe, as he has proved to be a great guide that led the Bucks even this far. So the target now points to Eric Bledsoe.

Bledsoe is emerging to be the potential trade candidate in the Milwaukee Bucks. He has two years left on his contract, but the Bucks will look to acquire a playmaker to the roster. They need more shooters that can complement the reigning MVP. This will also be an attempt to convince Giannis to stay back by giving him hopes of better supporters on the court.

While some might criticize Giannis extensively and say that the team is better off without him, he has proven himself repeatedly. He is an asset that their team recognizes and doesn’t want to lose.

Till the trading season begins, the air will not be cleared about what’s true or not.
