The Philadelphia Eagles are the latest team to honor Kobe Bryant. The Eagles unveiled a mural of the Philadelphia native, Bryant, in their practice facility in the NovaCare Complex. NBA legend Bryant was a devout Eagles fan. Back in 2017, he had come to speak to their players during their Superbowl run.

The mural has pictures of Bryant from his time at Lower Merion High School in Philadelphia, his time at the Los Angeles Lakers, and finally a picture of him sporting the Eagles jersey. Along with these pictures are “Kobe’s 10 rules.”

Kobe Bryant: Loved outside basketball as well

Despite it being six months since he passed away, love never stops pouring in for Bryant. Eagles cornerback Darius Slay said he will wear 24 in honor of Bryant. “He’s a true competitor,” Slay said. “He worked on his craft, and I believe that the work you put in is what you get out of it.”

Back in January, after Kobe passed away, the Eagles released the following statement: “The Eagles are shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna. He was a champion for the ages, a fearless competitor, and an outstanding ambassador for the city. Our hearts go out to all of today’s victims and their families.”

Bryant’s team USA teammate and close friend Dwyane Wade paid tribute to him last week. While announcing his latest shoes, Wade released a purple and gold colorway for Bryant, who donned the colors for two decades. Bryant’s numbers are displayed on the tongue of the shoes as well.

Earlier this month, 2K Sports announced their NBA 2K21 Mamba Forever edition, featuring Kobe as the cover athlete for it. He had featured twice back in the 2K10 edition when he came off back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010. Then after he announced his retirement in 2016, he was on the 2K17 Legend Edition cover.

After doing so much on and off the court, Bryant left his mark on the world and he will forever be recognized for it.
