Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal has always been active while giving back to society. The four-time NBA champion’s most recent venture is a fundraiser along with Tampa Bay’s star Rob Gronkowski. Shaq, who is known for his partying, is doing the most Shaq version of a fundraiser. On June 27th, he will be hosting a Shaq’s Fun House Vs Gronk Beach virtual party, which will donate all proceedings towards social justice.

They will compete in six different challenges namely: Lip Sync Battle, Game of HORSE, Jousting, Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin’ Challenge, the McCormick Grill Mates Steak Challenge, and finally the Rocket Mortgage Sports Showdown.

The winner of each challenge earns a donation to their charity. O’Neal’s wins provide donations to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, while Gronkowski’s winnings will go to the NAACP (The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).

“We’re all about bringing people together,” O’Neal said. “We’re all about making people smile. As I look at Gronk, I see a version of myself. … I’m proud to say he’s a friend. I’m glad to say I probably couldn’t pull this off with anybody else besides Gronk.” Back in March 2018, Gronk crashed Shaq’s EDM event and the two of them seemed to have a blast.

“I’m proud of all the guys that are bringing awareness to the situation,” O’Neal said. “Now that awareness is brought, we have to hand it off to the people that can get laws changed. To the senators, to Republicans and the Democrats, to mayors, congressmen — they have to do something.”

The event will be starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. It will be live-streamed for free at www.ShaqVsGronk.com and also on social media outlets like Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, and Twitter. Fans will also be able to suggest shots for the HORSE challenge.

With the NBA returning soon, fans will also be eager to watch the Inside the NBA crew reunite. The chemistry and banter between Shaq and Charles Barkley, along with all their insight, has been a hit. Their genuine, unscripted conversations have won over fans and even people who don’t watch basketball are hooked on.
