The talent in the NBA is considerable. Each generation had some players that were a notch above than the rest. But what if a team was to assemble with arguably the best player at each position? Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal recently revealed his top 5 in a team on Instagram.

Shaq posted a picture of LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, and himself. He put up a fitting caption for the image which said, “I don’t care what none of y’all saying. Ain’t nobody beatin this team in a seven games series.”

Although this can never be a reality, if these five players played on the same team, it would be a nightmare for any defense. Many have named their All-Time team in the past, but this could have arguably been an unstoppable force.

From offense to defense to playmaking, there is hardly any flaw in this team. Unfortunately, the world won’t ever see this team being assembled due to them playing in different eras.

Dwyane Wade reacts to the take by Shaquille O’Neal

Even at a passing glance, this team looks incredibly intimidating and D-Wade knows that. Wade reacted to this post on his Instagram story and wrote, “My Top 5 players of all time. My starting lineup vs anybodies!”

Like Wade said, it would be hard to beat this team in a single game, let alone in a seven-game series.

A look back at Shaq and D-Wade’s time with the Heat

After the duo of Shaq and Kobe fell apart, O’Neal joined the Miami Heat. This led to him being teamed up with a phenomenal talent in Dwyane Wade. The duo instantly clicked and even won an NBA Championship together.

However, due to Shaq’s quick decline, the Heat had to trade him in just four years. If Shaq had stayed in shape, maybe the duo would have won a few more rings together. The Heat didn’t win another championship until the Big 3 era.

What are your thoughts about this dream team by Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal? Would you have liked to see any other player in this picture?
