To be one of the most fearsome players in the franchise and simultaneously being the most happy-go-lucky player can’t be pulled off by just anyone. It can be extremely tricky to balance your personality as a basketball player and an individual. However, LeBron James seems to be at ease in this aspect. He is constantly seen as having friendly banters with his teammates and other players. Not only that, but he also doesn’t seem to have a problem in putting himself on the spot.

LeBron James roasts himself

LeBron has always been known for being the life of the party. He may be very intense and serious on the court, but has an incredible sense of humor beyond the court. We have seen this on many occasions recently with his teammate Anthony Davis. They keep showcasing their friendly banter on social media time and again.

However, seems like this was not enough for LeBron. He recently came out with a story on Instagram in which he was seen roasting himself. He posted a meme in which the back of his head is being compared to a Reese cup sticking to the base. Making a mockery of the previous memes that have surfaced about him, he said, “One of the funniest I’ve ever seen”.

It didn’t end there. He also wrote, “Hated when my Reese cup would do that but guess what I still kept it and ate it.”

This is the reason players and fans alike have so much love for him. His spontaneous and witty nature along with being a legend makes him the franchise’s most popular player.

How are the Lakers doing this season?

The Los Angeles Lakers made it to the playoffs after sealing top seed in the Western Conference. They are going up against the dangerous Portland Trail Blazers, who made their win into the playoffs after a play-in tournament with the Memphis Grizzlies. After the season was resumed, the Lakers seemed out of touch and had a disappointing set of seeding games.

However, they seem to have gotten their groove back and are leading with 2-1 in the playoff series. What’s commendable is that even during this pressurizing time, LeBron finds time to laugh and make others happy too.
