The LA Clippers have got great depth in their line-up. They have got that firepower which can crown them as kings. But on the other side, the Los Angeles Lakers are having a killer duo in LeBron James and Anthony Davis, coupled with some in-form players. It’s the clash of titans in the Orlando Bubble

The debate is heating as their match is nearing, and we have some expert comments flooding in. The ESPN got former NBA player Jalen Rose and former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins on to a debate to figure out which team tops the other.

Los Angeles Lakers vs LA Clippers predictions

Both the teams are #1 and #2 in the Western Conference. So naturally, they are on a winning run. Last time when they met in March before the stoppage, Lakers had beaten Clippers 112-103. But after such a long gap, that winning momentum holds lesser relevance when the season restarts.

Jalen Rose believes the Clippers have an upper hand on the Lakers. Perkins totally denied accepting that claim by saying, “Listen, when we talk about LeBron and Anthony Davis, we’re talking about the best duo since Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, how can you stop them?”

He discussed how Anthony is on top of the key, converting three-pointers. He then commented about the Akron Hammer, “He is playing some of the best basketball of his career at the age of 35 but the thing that separates Lakers from any other team in my opinion is that they have the most championship experience other than any team in the league.”

Clippers have an MVP potential in Paul George. They then have Kawhi Leonard, Lou Williams, Ivica Zubac and all these are match-winners in their own capacity. But when you hear NBA analyst Kendrick talking at length about the forces in the Lakers, he named all the promising players and said, “They have so much experience, they have so much leadership”. He ends his talk by exclaiming, “Who’s the best at being a leader and the floor general in the league, LeBron James and with this style of play, no fans on the court, he’s going to excel at a high rate.”

He also sees competition coming from the improvised Houston Rockets but still counts the Lakers as his favorites. Do you believe that too much star-power in the Clippers can prove to be a problem for them?
