Hard to believe. But the New Orleans Pelicans minus Zion Williamson defeated the Milwaukee Bucks with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Their scrimmage resulted in a score of 124-103, which is a shocker.

Before half time, the Bucks were still looking under control while the Pelicans were just picking momentum. The score was 53-50 with the Bucks ahead. Then came a relishing power from JJ Redick, who posted 20 points in the third quarter alone. The Bucks lost their first scrimmage game and will now directly play the real season. We have Sam Mitchell breaking the important practice game for us.

Zanos vs Giannis Antetokounmpo could not happen!

Former NBA player/coach Sam Mitchell reacted after the match, “You take Giannis off the floor and Milwaukee Bucks are an average team.” Raising concern, he said, “Who is that #2 guy that is going to step up? When Giannis is clamped down and teams are focused on him.” He pointed out that The Greek Freak will have to play like MVP if they want to continue winning like the last two years.

He praised the Pelicans by saying, “this New Orleans Pelicans team is a talented team.” Sam was shocked to see how they played like that without Zion in the team. Answering about Zanos, he said, “They’re going to need a healthy Zion and from the pictures that I’ve seen and I’ve seen that he’s posted, he’s in fantastic shape.” The entry of Zion will make Pelicans better as a unit and for sure he will be hungry to score big numbers. New Orleans Pelicans vs Milwaukee Bucks: As it happened…

The topmost MVP contender for 2020, Giannis played for 23 long minutes and gained 30 points for the team. He could convert three-pointers, and this is good for Mike Budenholzer’s side. The next top show for the Bucks came from Khris Middleton, who secured 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in 26 minutes.

But Pelicans guard JJ Redick washed away all the efforts from the Bucks by scoring four-3s. His 15 minutes on the court proved too expensive for the Bucks. Jaxson Hayes, Frank Jackson, Brandon Ingram, and Jrue Holiday played their part well, and as a result, their unit won by a good margin.

The NBA season resumes on July 30th. New Orleans Pelicans Vs Utah Jazz on July 30th at 6:30 PM ET. Milwaukee Bucks Vs Boston Celtics on July 31st at 6:30 PM ET.
