It’s not the fans, it’s nothing to do with the fans. It’s the backdrop. The baskets are like framed in. I’d say that it’s funny, first day we walked in the gym, I actually jokingly said, man, there’s going to be some great shooting in this freaking place because it is, it’s just framed so well for you. But I’ve got a feeling it’s going to get harder as this goes on because the defenses are going to get better.” said Rivers.

I think the offensive teams, everybody — we’ve had way more practice than you normally would have going into a playoff series, and that’s why the offenses are so sharp. But I think as things go on, you’re going to see offensive numbers drop a little bit.” added the Clippers head coach.

So far, the plan has worked out perfectly for them as they have advanced to the second round of the playoffs. However, the only concern for the team right now is Paul George’s form. In six games against the Dallas Mavericks, PG averaged only 18.5 points per game.

Considering the form of the Nuggets, the Clippers need every player to be consistent for them. Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic could cause problems for them in this upcoming series. However, at the end of the day, the Clippers are a better team compared to the Nuggets. This series should be just another stepping stone for this stacked LA Clippers team.
