The Los Angeles Clippers have a firm grip over the Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs. They lead the series with two games to one and are looking confident so far. Moreover, Paul George has gotten his touch back and is performing at a great level.

On the other hand, the Denver Nuggets need to regroup and pull another rabbit out of the hat. After erasing a 3-1 deficit vs the Jazz, the Nuggets can not be taken lightly. However, the Clippers squad is a notch above the Jazz.

The Clippers have a deep bench along with reliable two-way players. Also, the Clippers were one of the best defensive teams during the regular season. Apart from Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, other role players such as Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverley earn their bread and butter on the defensive side of the court.

It is clear that the Clippers shot more free throws by a healthy margin. Like Malone said, ignoring Beverley’s comments is the best way to focus on the game. If Pat Bev gets inside the heads of the Nuggets roster, the series might end sooner rather than later.

Heading into game 4, the Nuggets need to forget about what happened in game 3 and should focus entirely on what’s ahead. This Clippers team will get only better and better as the series stretches.

Moreover, there are very few chances that Kawhi Leonard will have an off game like he did in game 2. Keeping that in mind, if the Clippers manage to win game 4, Nuggets hopes for a place in the Conference finals might be over.
