The Denver Nuggets have done it again! They survived to fight another day after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers with a score of 111-105. The Nuggets were down 16 points at one point, but a run ignited by Paul Millsap overhauled the Clippers.

Millsap had an enormous third quarter where the veteran scored 15 points. But it all began at the end of the second quarter. Marcus Morris and Millsap got into a heated exchange inside the paint.

Morris was the initiator of the fight, and as a result, he received a technical foul for his actions. At the moment, things settled down, but it seems like Millsap took the fight personally. He came back a different player after the half-time break.

This postseason, Morris has somewhat built a reputation as a dirty player. Heading to the second-round series, Morris was already fined by the league for his actions against Luka Doncic.Ā  But Morris hasn’t learned his lesson and continues to play recklessly.

What Millsap started was ultimately finished by Murray and Jokic in the last quarter, as the Nuggets avoided elimination. But the Nuggets can’t take a sigh of relief just yet. They still aren’t out of the woods and can very well be eliminated in the next round.

Like always, NBA fans were quick to react to yet another altercation by Morris. Moreover, losing the game must feel like rubbing salt on their wounds.

Well, this loss should be nothing but a small hurdle for the Clippers. But one thing is certain: the Nuggets have stripped them of their momentum after this defeat. Moreover, in this game, both teams played at an elite level, but at the end of the day, the Clippers were outplayed.

Kawhi Leonard had yet another 30 point outing, but he couldn’t carry his team to victory. Paul George also scored an efficient 26 points, including four 3 pointers. PG had a poor Game 4, but luckily, it didn’t affect the team much as they won, anyway.
