The duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis have proven themselves once again. The Los Angeles Lakers played against the LA Clippers in today’s seeding game. Seeding games are eight remaining games that every returning team plays before the beginning of the playoffs.

Whether it is on the court or off the court, both LeBron James and Anthony Davis have a very close bond. When Davis joined the Lakers in the summer of 2019, LeBron even wanted to welcome him to the team by giving him his Jersey number 23. The gesture came because Davis has had the jersey number 23 all the way from his years in high school. However, the switch could not be made due to regulations.

LeBron James takes his own sweet time

A close win against the Clippers with a score of 103-101 came as a relief to all Lakers players. Davis bagged 34 points for himself and LeBron scored 16 points with 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Usually, it is not very beneficial for the Lakers when James and Davis are made to sit, which is probably why the Clippers managed to pick up their game after the first quarter.

The match was concluded with a press conference afterward in which LeBron spoke to reporters. However, his All-Star teammate wanted LeBron to get it over with quickly. He impatiently poked his head inside the hallway where the interview was taking place. The Bleacher’s reporter, Taylor Rooks, who was inside that hallway, captured this hilarious moment between LeBron and Davis.

Anthony Davis says,” Hurry up, LeBron.” LeBron reacts to him, picking up his belongings, and states that he wants to have some food and some wine later. Davis is seen playfully laughing at his reaction.  This funny banter highlights the comfort and bond these two players share.

 What’s next for the Lakers?

“It felt like a real game to me, two teams battling. … Can’t complain for the first game,” Davis said.
