The Golden State Warriors are one of the eight teams who have to witness the 2019-20 NBA season from afar. They were not invited into the NBA Bubble due to them having the worst record in the league. That being said, their star player Stephen Curry also had to witness his team sitting this one out. With a lot of time on his hands, Curry has surprised everyone with his new hairstyle.

Commentators mock Stephen Curry for new look

Curry made an appearance in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery last week. Since then, people have been raving about his new look. When he joined the virtual fan cheering in the previous Los Angeles Clippers versus Dallas Mavericks matchup on Sunday, ESPN commentators Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy shared a chuckle over the two-time MVP’s new look.

“This guy has changed his hairstyle more than anybody I’ve known in my life,” Jackson stated during the broadcast. Van Gundy added, “You know what that may be a sign of? He may be losing it. Because that’s what I did, you’re trying to do the combover, you’re trying to do everything.”

It’ll be very fascinating to see whether Curry continues to make appearances with the same look or even plays the next season like this.

Stephen Curry’s haircut will the least of their worries. They will be looking to get themselves back on track after a humiliating record this season. It has been more than a decade since the Golden State Warriors added Curry to their roster. He has played a major role in molding the team into an extraordinary bunch of players. He has also suffered a lot of injuries during his career but that doesn’t change the fact that he is considered one of their key players alongside Klay Thompson.

There were certain speculations that the eight teams that weren’t included in the bubble would be invited one by one to start off practice. However, there has been no further update on it. It appears as if the Warriors needed this rest and fans will be hoping that they come back with a bang next season.
