Potential #1 Draft Pick LaMelo Ball Close to Signing Endorsement Deal with PUMA: Reports

LaVar Ball has meticulously built a brand that revolves around his three sons; Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo. His youngest cub LaMelo Ball became the first high-school player to have his signature sneaker. But now, he’s reported to be edging towards signing an endorsement deal with PUMA!

The Ball brothers always create excitement wherever they go. Their careers are masterfully guided by their father, LaVar Ball. With his next move, the elder Ball has carved out a lucrative endorsement deal for his youngest son. 

As reported by Shams Charania of ‘The Athletic,’ LaMelo Ball is “finalizing an endorsement deal with PUMA.” This is certainly huge news for LaMelo, and PUMA, too. They would be determined to establish themselves as sneaker giants in the NBA. In a market that is now dominated by Nike and Adidas, PUMA looks to bring back the influence they once had in the league

While they have a long road ahead, marketing their creative design through top prospect LaMelo Ball is undoubtedly a brilliant strategy. Thus, we feel this is a win-win situation for both parties. See you soon in the NBA with those PUMAs, LaMelo!

Where should LaMelo Ball land in the 2020 NBA Draft? 

LaMelo Ball might just be the #1 pick in this year’s draft. Moreover, there’s very little chance of him going any higher than #3. There’s no doubt about young Ball’s talents and his abilities to step up on the big stage. He’s proved himself in a professional league when he was just eighteen.

The Wolves should pick LaMelo, unless they have their minds fixed on someone else. We are unsure if they’d pass on LaMelo and pick Anthony Edwards or any other talent. Moreover, the Wolves snubbing LaMelo would also mean that the Warriors would have the chance to pick him up, which might disrupt LaVar Ball’s vision.

“They got Klay and the other guys and now you want to put ‘Melo in that mix to say you got to follow these guys. ‘Melo ain’t no follower,” LaVar said on the Say Less with Kaz And Lowkey podcast a couple of months ago.
