The NBA’s desire is to begin the 2021 season on Dec 22. Training camps will begin as soon as November ends, giving very little time for the bubble teams to recuperate. However, the Warriors don’t belong in that category.

The team last played an NBA game on March 10, and the deficit adds up to eight months. Thus, the wait cannot be piled up any longer as the players are raring to go out and play. Their head coach feels the same way too!

From making five successive finals trips to posting one of the worst regular-season records, the Golden State Warriors have seen it all. Their dynasty took a huge hit when Curry and Thompson were sidelined due to injury during the 2020 season.

“But of course I want to play basketball,” Curry said. “This has been the longest 7 months of waiting. Even watching the bubble, it’s tough. Definitely ready to get back out there and play.”
