LeBron James and Michael Jordan have been pitted against each other for years. However, the noise has gotten a whole lot louder after LeBron won his fourth championship, with the Lakers winning 4-2 over the Miami Heat. James was awarded his fourth career Finals MVP trophy. Along with that, he became the first man to win the award for three teams.

While LeBron is still stacking his resume, his most common comparison comes with a man that retired a season before he debuted. That is Michael Jordan. MJ is 6-0 in the NBA Finals, and that will forever be held against LeBron, as he is 4-6.

Despite the 4-6 record, Detroit Pistons legend Isaiah Thomas picks LeBron as the basketball G.O.A.T. While his choice could be motivated by personal dislike, it is a valid argument. An argument that he felt the need to emphasize on Twitter.
