Steph Curry is ready to return to the NBA. After getting injured last season, Curry spent most of his time on the shelf. Curry has made a full recovery and is raring to go.
However, Steph Curry will be without his partner-in-crime Klay Thompson. Thompson suffered another season-ending injury before the start of the season. Golden State Warriors fans will have to wait to see ‘The Splash Brothers’ back in action.
However, the Warriors still have Steph Curry. Curry is often regarded as the greatest shooter of all-time. While Curry may not be at his MVP-level, he is still a very potent threat.

The Warriors season heavily depends on Curry’s health. Recovering from a broken arm, Curry should ideally err on the side of caution so as to ensure that he sees the season through to the end.

Curry spoke with Marc Spears of The Undefeated. When asked about his injury and recovery, Curry remarked that he feels good coming into the season.
“I’m feeling good. I think that one game I played in March felt like I had a good rehab and all that. And obviously, over this extended offseason, I’ve had time to focus on the things that needed attention.
“So when I get back out on the court, it should be just getting familiar with the new guys, understanding that we have a lot to accomplish and a lot to learn quickly with the condensed season.”

While Thompson is out, the Warriors are still expected to be playoff contenders for the season. The Lakers are the favorites to emerge from the Western Conference. Therefore, Curry and the Warriors find themselves in an unfamiliar position as underdogs.

The addition of Kelly Oubre and new draftee James Wiseman, the Warriors could see Curry take up a major leadership role. As far as the Warriors are concerned, they will be determined to show that their dynastic reign over the league is far from over. But they cannot over-exert Steph Curry, given his injury record.
They must be vigilant and careful with Steph as he makes his way back to the NBA; for he is their only shot at glory this time around.
