Stephen Curry Has a Hilarious Comment to NBA Discussing Hosting Games at Disneyland

A new possible destination for NBA games comes up as the organization look for ways to resume its league. For the last few weeks, they have been discussing possible locations to host the NBA games in front of empty stands. Reacting to it in an Instagram comment, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry had a funny comment.

The planning behind a single location was keeping all the players quarantined at a single place A list of possible locations included Los Angeles and the Bahamas among others. However, the latest reports suggest a new place- Disney World.

Shams Charania of The Athletic took to Twitter to suggest that the Disney World could be a possible destination for the games to take place.

Stephen Curry has a funny comment

To the report of Disney World being a possible destination, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry managed to see a funny side to it.  On an Instagram post that shared the news, Curry commented: “Free park admission too”

Disney chairman had previously made a presentation to the league’s chairman through a video conference. Also, Disney owns NBA’s broadcasting partners ESPN. These seem to inclinations towards Disney World being a possible destination to host the league.

Resumption of NBA still unclear

Although reports of a possible destination are surfacing, it is still unclear about when and how the league could resume. An important question that remains is whether the regular season will come back. The more it gets delayed, the feeling around is that teams will directly play in the post-season.

For teams near playoff contention, the league has previously talked about a mini-playoff to qualify for the postseason. It is, however, still unclear how and when the league would resume.

The NBA suspended its league in March when it found Utah Jazz’s Rudy Gobert infected with the coronavirus. Later, a few more within the league including Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant came in contact with the virus.
