Miami Heat were reportedly on the downside owing to the coronavirus crisis. It was mentioned that half of their roster was unable to put in the work due to the lack of equipments.
Players need to stay in touch around shooting the ball and some basic drills to maintain the shape they carry during the NBA season. Only two of the Heat players were regularly able to put in the work and practice. The rest don’t have even a hoop to keep the spark alive during this offseason.
Jimmy Butler was the only Heat player with a proper basket at home. Now, the 30-year-old has performed a massive deed by sending out hoops to his teammates and coaches.

“Jimmy Butler has made sure his Miami Heat teammates at least have a basket to work with as team facilities around the NBA are closed indefinitely amid the NBA’s coronavirus shutdown. Then the All-Star wing had portable baskets sent to each Heat player and coach to make sure they had one, too, as they wait out the NBA hiatus.”

Teammate Goran Dragic was quick to acknowledge Bulter’s great deed. “Two days ago I received a big box, I opened it and it was a basketball hoop from Jimmy,” Dragic said, in an Instagram Live session.
“My first hoop [that I have] is for kids. So basically, it was not a real hoop for me. Yesterday [Saturday] I was putting together all these pieces and finally I made it. I already shot some shots to take advantage of that. Jimmy, thank you brother. I appreciate it.”

It is really a kind gesture by Butler to help out his teammates who looked to be away from basketball. This will reassure them of his dedication towards the team and boost their morale as a unit too.
Miami Heat look to be a promising team this season with a current record of 41-24. With Butler putting up impressive performances, the rest of the team will be boosted by his generosity during the hiatus. If the season resumes with the normal schedule, the Heat can surge further in the table with the amount of talent they have in their roster.
