The three-time scoring champion has arguably been one of the best players in the NBA. In the last three seasons, he has averaged over 30 points each game.

NBA Insider Scoop B recently tweeted the comments of the former Lakers’ star Ron Artest A.K.A Metta World Peace about the Rockets’ star. Artest said, “He’s nice. It’s not even a comparison. It’s not like you’re comparing him to LeBron or something like this LeBron or that LeBron, like you got four different LeBrons. This James Harden right here, the last two or three years, there’s no comparison.”

Artest added, “You know he’s just like–this is the BEST James Harden. I don’t even know how old he is. What’s he 32, 33? I mean, he’s done some historic shit. What was he averaging this year? Like 38, 39? That’s MJ shit! But MJ plays way better defense than James Harden.”

With Westbrook not fitting in the team, and the lack of a good supporting cast, Harden and the Rockets were ousted by the eventual champions, the Los Angeles Lakers in five games.

A trio of James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Durant has the capability to destroy any team’s defense. Any of the three can have a 40 point game. The only issue the Nets might face with Harden in the picture is of who would run the offense.

Both ‘the Beard’ and Irving prefer the role of primary ball handlers. If Harden comes to the Nets, one of them might have to take a step back, but will they be willing to do so?
