The One NBA Game that Rocked and Scared Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls the Most

Chicago Bulls had an outstanding decade as a team in the 1990s. With Michael Jordan leading the team, the Bulls won six titles in a span of eight years. A part of the team, Steve Kerr, recently recalled the scariest game during that period.
Competing in the 1997/98 season, the Bulls had won the last two Championships. They were looking for their second three-peat within a decade. The Bulls were facing Indiana Pacers in what would be the last few games of Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson. They had to go to Game 7 to get the result in the series. Kerr recently admitted the Game 7 was the scariest game for they had ever faced.
“That was the scariest game we ever faced,” Kerr told ESPN.

“The thought of losing never entered our locker room,” Toni Kukoc said. “It was more quiet that day. Everyone in his own head, rolling over stuff that might happen in the game.”

They eventually won the game and finished with an unparalleled legacy.
Steve Kerr has coached Golden State Warriors to the heights that he achieved as a Chicago Bulls player
As a player, Kerr was a part of the Bulls second three-peat. He was a part of a star-studded lineup in Chicago. After his playing career, he has coached another star-studded lineup in a different generation. In 2014, he became the coach of Golden State Warriors.

He built a team around Stephen Curry with the likes of Klay Thompson, Draymond Green in the team. He went on to win the title in his first season. Kevin Durant joined the team in 2016 and almost achieved a three-peat.

With Kerr as the coach, the Warriors made five consecutive finals appearances winning three of them. Their attempt to making it for the sixth time, however, has been far from being on track. With changes in the roster and injuries to their stars, the Warriors had a dismal 2019/20 season. Prior to the league’s suspension, they were at the bottom of the Western Conference with the worst record in the NBA.
