The 2020-21 NBA season will mark the return of the Golden State Warriors at full strength. The last season, they were in final place in the league due to the Splash Brothers battling through injuries.
However, with both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson healthy again, the sky is the limit for them. NBA commissioner Adam Silver believes the Dubs will return to title contention pretty soon.
“I’m very confident that they’ll return to contention quickly. I look at the quality of their management. Of course, the quality of the players that are currently on their roster. I have no reason to believe they won’t be back as a top-tier team in the NBA.”

Furthermore, Silver is confident this will have a positive impact for the league’s ratings as well.
“There’s also no question that continuity helps build fans nationally and internationally, for that matter. I think fans are drawn to familiar faces, especially when it comes to playoff competition.”

The original trio of Curry, Thompson, and Green will be under the spotlight as well. The last time they played without a fourth star in Kevin Durant, the Warriors created history. They won 73 games in a season, but blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals.
Considering that the three are still in their prime, the Dubs should not have much issue in at least making a deep playoff run.
