Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers have always been synonymous with each other. The legend spent his career playing for purple and gold, winning five championships for them in an illustrious 20-year career.
Kobe was known for his killer Mamba instinct and the will to outwork everyone. During his career, he wore jerseys #8 and #24 respectively, which the franchise retired after his death. The NBA did everything in their power to honor him and Gigi to make sure he always lives on in the memory of fans all around the globe.

Lakers to wear “Black Mamba” alternative jersey to honor Kobe Bryant
The playoffs have finally begun, and today the Lakers will lock horns with the Blazers. This series is special because of the exciting matchup between LeBron James and Damian Lillard. But today, we have another reason to be excited about this series.
According to the NBA’s Lockervision website, the Lakers will wear 8/24 “Black Mamba” alternative jerseys for game 4 for the game, which will be held on August 24.

The jerseys will have a small white patch with number two to honor Gigi Bryant as well. This gesture was well-received by Vanessa Bryant, who shared a story on her Instagram account revealing the jerseys.
It is quite evident that she loved these jerseys and will cheer for the Lakers in the loving memory of her husband and daughter.
