Kobe Bryant will be a part of the Hall of Fame

Kobe, who passed away in January, got his biggest basketball award a few days back. He will a part of the Naismith Basketball of Fame class of 2020. A truly legendary class that involved Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan apart from Bryant as inductees among NBA players.

Vanessa was among the first people to react to the honor for Kobe.

“It’s an incredible accomplishment and honor, and we’re extremely proud of him,” she said after Kobe’s inclusion in the Hall of Fame. “Every accomplishment that he had as an athlete was a steppingstone to be here.”

“Obviously we wish that he was here with us to celebrate. We’re incredibly proud of him. And there’s some solace in knowing that he was probably going to be a part of the 2020 Hall of Fame class.”

Bryant will be officially enshrined into the Basketball hall of Fame in August.
